Great service?
In Australia today, it seems one measure of greatness is the number of people at your service – washing your car, getting your coffee, cleaning your house, mowing your lawn.
But Jesus says if you want to be a great man in His kingdom you need to be ready to serve others. And that’s the example Jesus himself set – the one who “did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
mkc 10 is all about “Men of Service: Love, Relationships & Family” and will confront men to be great by offering their lives in service to their wives, families, friends, workmates and everyone they encounter. Put your hand up – join us in 2010 to be challenged by Song of Songs (Gary Millar), Philippians (John Dickson) and Tin Shed Time, and enjoy the privilege of spending a weekend with thousands of other Christian men at mkc. |
