New to church?

Welcome!
If you’re a local, you’ve probably passed us many times – and you are always very welcome to visit us on a Sunday.

How long does church go for?
Usually about an hour. There’s morning tea or supper afterwards if you’d like to stay.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out?
No. We promise you won’t be put on the spot.

What should I wear?
Casual wear is fine. There’s no need to dress up for church.

What about my kids?
At the 9.30am service we offer age appropriate activities while the service is on for babies, children and youth. For more information see our Family Service page.

What kind of church are you?
As a Bible-based Anglican Church we seek to understand God’s message to us in his word, the Bible.

I haven’t been to church in ages. Will I be welcome?
Sure!

Protection of Children
At St. Philip's we believe that it is vital to protect the vulnerable – especially children. All those who work with children have completed the NSW Government’s ‘Working with Children Check’. As well, our Sunday School teachers, Scripture teachers and others have had additional training on child protection.
