Prayer Points
Thanks
- Give thanks to God for all the new Mums at Playgroup this term & pray that many of them will continue to come along to church.
- Thank God for the first semester of the year for the University ministry and the many students that attended Mid Year Conference. Pray that the organisation and planning of groups and ministry events in second semester will be smooth and ask God to bring many students to Christ.
Ministry Team
- Pray for Jeremy and the leaders of Kids Club and Magnitek for the Youth Group that they will lead many young people to Jesus Christ.
- Pray that God’s word will be preached effectively. Pray for the safety, health and spiritual refreshment of Steve, Rob, Jeremy and Ben. Pray for them in their home lives that they will always care and support their families.
Encouragement
- Pray for Stephen & Lisa McNabb as they work in New Zealand for strength and peace.
Missionaries
- Pray for Debbie & Johan Linder that they will come across people who God is preparing to join the work in Thailand as they go to different churches who are supporting them. Pray that they will also have a safe trip back to Thailand.
- Pray for CMS and OMF that people will be generous in their giving to help missionaries overseas tell the good news of Jesus Christ.
- Libby Leach at the Univerity in Paris gives thanks for this year's GBU student representives who have been keen Christians who worked well as a team.
- Pray for Andrew & Jenny Sumpton as they serve with SIM's in Ethiopia for good health and God's wisdom to cope
Our Community & World
- Pray for Anglicare staff in Welfare Services that they never weary from the burden of carrying that the many problems that people bring them each day. Pray as they also work with homeless young people in their Youth Services Street Outreach.
- Pray for God to bring relief from the ever-increasing drought & wisdom and help for all the farmers and their families. Pray that family members will support each other.
